Surgical Reports

A list of Surgical Reports for lots with digital or film xrays is available via a link on the lot selection page. The reports are in PDF format.

Registration

The registration process requires vets to agree to the Repository Notice and Agreement form and then complete their registration details including email address and password. We request that this be kept confidential.

When the veterinarian's details are completed an email will be automatically sent to Inglis.

The details will be verified and activated and the veterinarian will be notified by email that their account is activated.

Once activated the veterinarian can login to the online repository.

The account is activated for the current sales year. Registration can be completed at the Repository.

Login and Use

Note: The Inglis Repository System has only been tested on Microsoft Internet Explorer. Mozilla Firefox won't load the Microsoft Window's image viewer control and there is no similar functionality available for Apple PC's. Internet Explorer will work when loaded in MSWindows running as a service on the Apple OSX operating systems.

After successful login a screen of sales with digital xrays will display. Selecting a lot will check the database to ensure that the lot has X-rays, and verify that the lot has not been sold or withdrawn. Previous sales are displayed to view passed in lots with X-rays.

The first time only that any lot is selected for viewing will cause a download of the Microsoft Windows OCX control, which is required to be installed to the local PC. Depending on your security settings you may get a yellow line near the top of your browser requesting permission to download and install the control.

Once loaded the images will display. Time to display will vary depending on the original size of the images forwarded to Inglis and your Internet speed. On an ADSL link the images should average 30 secs to a minute to load.

Close the display screen to get back to the list of lots.

On the right of the screen are the DICOM manipulation controls which are fully explained using this HELP SCREEN.

The main controls are: PAGE DOWN/UP to select next image.

Hold right mouse button and scroll left and right to change brightness or up and down to change contrast.

Zoom with left mouse button held to select an area of the image to enlarge. Press ESC to reset the image. The larger the area selected the smaller the zoom factor. Conversely if you select too small an area the zoom factor may be too large and unviewable. Press ESC to reset the image and try again. You can move a zoomed image around the display window by holding down the right button and moving the mouse.

Display problem if you upgraded from Microsoft Office 2000 to Microsoft Office 2003 or 2007

If you have upgraded your PC from Microsoft Office 2000 to Microsoft Office 2003 or 2007 then you may need to install Microsoft's photoedit software that doesn't load during the upgrade. The symptom is that random numbers display rather than an image.

Click on the link to install this Microsoft produced software. File size is 135Kb and will automatically install.

Install Photoedit
